Amore’s extensive menu has a variety of Italian dishes and lots and lots of options. Weekly specials tend to be a little more daring, and have included dishes with rainbow trout and even liver. Amore’s main draw is the wood-burning pizza oven, from which over 22 types of pies emerge. Pizza ca be made with regular, multigrain, or spelt crust, and topped with everything from the standard pepperoni to snow peas and dill. For cheese, mozzarella is just the beginning – the make-your own pizza menu has types of cheese to choose from including brie, gorgonzola, and bocconcini. Deciding on a pasta dish may also be difficult with over 25 selections to choose between. Unlike many Italian restaurants, dessert choices are plentiful at Amore. Aside from classic Italian desserts such as tiramisu, the restaurant has black and white mousse, lemon tarts, and cheesecake. Their wine list will also satisfy discerning diners with selections from Italy, California, South Africa, and Chile.
